STREETERVILLE — Police have released photos of four people they say are linked to a shooting outside an AMC Theatre in Streeterville.
At 8:10 p.m. Sunday, a 46-year-old woman was shot in her arm in the 400 block of North Columbus Drive near the AMC River East movie theater in Streeterville, police said. The woman, who was visiting from out of town with her son, was taken to Northwestern Hospital in good condition.
On Thursday, police released photos of four boys or young men who they said “were involved” in the shooting.
Police are urging those with information to alert detectives by calling 312-744-8261 or submitting an anonymous tip at CPDTIP.com. Those with information can reference No. JJ175279.
Ald. Brian Hopkins (2nd) told Block Club Chicago on Tuesday that the woman had been discharged from the hospital and had already left the city.

“The bullet hit her in the arm. Another one actually hit the purse she was carrying,” Hopkins said. “So, you know, technically, you could say she was struck twice by stray gunfire.”
Detectives found private video footage from the incident and at least six shell casings outside the AMC theater, according to the Sun-Times, which obtained a copy of the police report.
The video footage shows a man firing the gun. The man wore a red hooded sweatshirt with black markings on the sleeves and black and white shoes, and he was about 6 feet tall with long dreadlocks, the Sun-Times reported.
Hopkins told Block Club he was informed by the Police Department that, leading up to the shooting, a group of about 50 teens had been hanging out on the corner of Fairbanks Court and Illinois Street. The group moved from Walgreens to the AMC lobby, where security asked them to leave because they were not buying tickets, Hopkins said he was told.
AMC did not respond to a request for comment, but Hopkins said the company updated its policies last year to ban unaccompanied minors and hired additional security to enforce the rules.
