After criticizing the Trump administration’s “screwed up” rollout of “the truckload” of Jeffrey Epstein files they promised to release, Jimmy Kimmel once again criticized them for delaying the next batch of files even further.
During his Live opening monologue Wednesday (Mar. 5), Kimmel questioned Attorney General Pam Bondi’s recent claim that the next batch of files will have to be redacted due to “national security reasons.”
“National security reasons?” he asked. “I know he had a plane, did Jeffrey Epstein have a UFO they flew on, too?”
Kimmel then asked, “Who could possibly be implicated that plays a role in national security?”
To answer his own question, Kimmel aired a Fox News clip of Trump briefly hesitating before agreeing to release the Epstein files.
“I wish I could see the little hamster wheel turning in his head right now,” Kimmel said with a laugh. He then impersonated Trump saying, “‘Give me my Sharpie, I need to redact some things.’”

The late night host then joked the Trump administration would rather release Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently being held in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn for racketeering and sex trafficking charges, before they release the complete Epstein files, which critics believe could implicate President Trump.
“Let’s be honest, the reason this is taking so long is because Trump and Epstein spent more time on planes together than the Wright brothers,” he quipped. “They will release Diddy before they release all the Epstein files unredacted.”
Kimmel has called President Trump out before for his previous friendship with Epstein. He recently slammed conspiracy theorists who believed “deep state agents” are to blame for repressing the Epstein files.
“First, the deep state agents need to go through the documents to make sure they dot every I and cross out every DJT and then they can release the documents,” he joked on a recent episode.
He then called “these looney tunes” out, saying it’s “unbelievable” they are “conveniently forgetting that Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein were good friends.”
Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs on weeknights at 11:35/10:35c on ABC.
